A Day With:

During my years as a photographer, I’ve given numerous interviews to all kind of online/printed magazines.
some people makes a fuss out of these things – well, I mostly feel awkward about them.
I’m not so good at talking about myself/my photography and mostly, all these interviews goes exactly the same; same questions to which, in years, I’ve already came up with the exact same answers. boring, right?
A few month ago, I was contacted by Francesca Wilkins who works for the online YET magazine (printed versions can be found in the TATE museum) she offered me to do something a bit different for a change… which of course, I was all up to!
YET magazine has a section called A DAY WITH: in which the interviewer follows the photographer around, document him mid-work in his natural surroundings (in my case – home sweet home) and do a little talk as well. that sound so un-boring to me… finally something a bit more creative i’d happily participate in, hooray!
This was a fun experience which you can read all about here from page 172 onward! for the lazy ones, or the ones that don’t do well with online pdf’s (hi mom!) here’s the entire interview down below :)
Thanks to Francesca and the YET magazine team for being so awesome!

You should really do a post on the cities you’ve lived in, describing them through pictures. I think since you traveled so much (been following you for a while) it would really be interested to see something like that on your blog :)
I loved the interview, this sounded somehow more intimate than the others.

A wonderful interview. The interviewer asked great questions and it was so marvelous to “hear” you “talk” about your work. A treat. Excellent images, too. You and your amazing and inspiring work deserve this kind of special recognition:)
